Women’s Basketball

Camila Casanueva (Brandeis) scored 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds on Friday in the Judges’ 78-61 win at Carnegie Mellon University… Erin Lindahl (Emory) averaged 15.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game in a pair of road losses… Katie Foos (NYU) scored a game-high 23 points, hitting five of six 3-pointers, in the Violets’ 72-62 loss at Case Western Reserve University on Friday… Taylor Lake (Chicago) shot 50.0 percent from the field (13-for-26), while averaging 17.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game in the Maroons’ home wins over University of Rochester and Emory University… Madeline Homoly (Washington) averaged 17.5 points and 5.0 rebounds, shooting 69.6 percent from the field, as the Bears defeated Emory University and University of Rochester to remain unbeaten in UAA play. 

Men’s Basketball

Corey Sherman (Brandeis) averaged 16.7 points, shooting 55.2 percent from the floor and 46.2 percent from three-point range, in a 1-2 week for the Judges… Zach Howarth (Carnegie Mellon) averaged 16. 5points and 7.0 rebounds per game in Tartan wins over Brandeis University and NYU… Michael Hollis (CWRU) averaged 12.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in a 1-1 weekend for the Spartans… Jack Nolan (Washington) hit seven of nine 3-pointers and scored 25 points in the Bears’ 93-62 home win over 12th-ranked University of Rochester.

Women’s Swimming and Diving

Olivia Stebbins (Brandeis) won the 50-yard breaststroke (34.12 seconds) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.34) in wins over Merrimack College and Maine Maritime Academy… Sydney Catron (NYU) earned victories in the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.70) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:10.65) in the Violets’ win over NCAA Division II Long Island University Post… Catherine Cowin (Washington) won the 100- (55.48 seconds) and 200-yard freestyle (1:57.93) events in the Bears’ win over Lindenwood University-Belleville.

Men’s Swimming and Diving

Justin Weissberg (Brandeis) won the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.75) and 500-yard freestyle (5:14.95) in the Judges’ win over Maine Maritime Academy… Graham Chatoor (NYU) won the 500-yard (4:46.77) and 1,000-yard (9:50.23) freestyle events in the Violets’ dual meet win over the United States Merchant Marine Academy… Chase Van Patten (Washington) captured the 50-yard freestyle (22.02 seconds) and 100-yard freestyle (47.82 seconds) events in the Bears’ win over Lindenwood University-Belleville. Matthew Grottkau won both diving events for the Bears.

Women’s Indoor Track and Field

Carrie McIntyre (Emory) recorded a personal-best time of 5:17.68 in the mile at the University of Alabama Birmingham Vulcan Invitational. Isabel Saridakis recorded a mark of 3.35 meters in the pole vault… Evelyn Nkanga (NYU) finished first among collegiate runners in the 200 meters (26.69 seconds) at the Ramapo College Season Opener on Friday… Mary Martin (Chicago) won the 200-meter dash (26.00 seconds) and placed second in the 60-meter dash (7.96 seconds) at the Maroons’ Phoenix Invitational… Katie Snodgross (Washington) won the 3,000 meters in 10:26.15 at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Friday Night Spikes Opener.

Men’s Indoor Track and Field 

Regan Charlie (Brandeis) won the 60-meter dash in 7.19 seconds and placed second in the 200-meter dash in 23.33 seconds at the Judges’ Reggie Poyau Memorial Invitational… Jacob Solomon (Emory) recorded times of 7.12 seconds in the 60-meter dash and 23.45 seconds in the 200-meter dash at the University of Alabama Birmingham Vulcan Invitational… Carter Beardsley (NYU) won the shot put (13.78 meters) at the Ramapo College Season Opener on Friday… John McCormick (Chicago) finished first in the long jump (6.49 meters) and triple jump (13.88 meters) at the Maroons’ Phoenix Invitational… Brandon Hutchison (Washington) placed first in the pole vault (4.42 meters) at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Friday Night Spikes Opener.

Wrestling

Isaac Collier (CWRU) posted a 4-2 record at 165 pounds on the week, finishing 2-0 in dual meets on Wednesday and splitting four matches at the Manchester University Spartan Mat Classic.
