Six UAA Institutions Finish Fall in Top-35 of Directors' Cup Standings

Six UAA institutions are ranked among the top 35 teams in NCAA Division III in the final Learfield Directors’ Cup fall standings.

Buoyed by NCAA final and semifinal appearances by its soccer teams, University of Chicago stands in seventh place. Washington University (10th) and Emory University (11th) follow closely after two top-five appearances each from fall teams.

Carnegie Mellon University finished the fall in 15th place with four teams posting top-24 NCAA finishes.

University of Rochester, keyed by an NCAA quarterfinal trip by men's soccer, sits in 32nd place. With its national semifinal appearance by men's soccer, Brandeis University concluded the fall in 35th place.

The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.  Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
