Case Western Reserve University sophomore Matthew Chen won all four of his matches on Saturday during the Spartans’ spring break trip in Orlando, Florida. He teamed with Zach Hennessey for an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles and then did not drop a game in a victory at first singles in a 9-0 blanking of University of Scranton. Chen and Hennessey earned an 8-5 win against Carnegie Mellon University and Chen followed with a comeback victory at No. 1 singles, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, in the 14th-ranked Spartans’ 5-4 loss to the 15th-ranked Tartans.
