A total of 113 swimming and diving student-athletes from UAA institutions have been invited to compete in the 2019 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, including 64 women.
The 60 UAA women's swimmers represent 20.7 percent of all swimmers at the NCAA championship, while the 46 men represent 19.5 percent of invited swimmers.
The championships run from Wednesday, Mar. 20-Saturday, Mar. 23 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Nine-time defending NCAA Division III champion Emory University leads the way with 18 invited women's swimmers. NYU (14) and University of Chicago (13) each received double-digit swimming bids, while the Maroons are also sending four divers.
On the men's side, Emory is sending 15 swimmers and one diver, while Chicago qualified 13 swimmers.
