The No. 3-ranked Emory volleyball team posted a pair of Saturday victories on the first day of action at the University Athletic Association Round Robin I. The Eagles swept both the University of Rochester (25-12, 25-19, 25-11) and Brandeis (25-21, 25-16, 25-10), boosting their win streak to 13 matches and overall record to 14-1. Serving as the host of the Round Robin I is Case Western Reserve.

** Emory hits a season-high .412 (37-9—68) in the match vs. .091 (24-17—77) for the Yellowjackets. It is the seventh time this year that the Eagles hold an opponent to an attack percentage of less than .100
** Emory doles out nine service aces with sophomore Elyse Thompson chalking up four aces, her fifth multi-ace match of the campaign.
** Freshman Leah Saunders leads all players with nine kills. Junior Sydney Leimbach, along with sophomores Morgan McKnight and Sara Carr, all chip in six terminations.
** Junior Mady Arles and sophomore Sarah Porter tally 15 and 14 assists, respectively.
** Rochester's 77 attack attempts is the second-lowest opponent total this season.
Emory 3, Brandeis 0
** Emory records an attack percentage of .302 (36-10—86) and holds the Judges to an effort of .086 (26-21—101). The Eagles have outhit their last 13 foes.
** Sydney Leimbach hits .389 on the strength of a team-high nine kills with just two errors in 18 swings.
** Sara Carr rings up eight successful attack attempts and finishes with a hitting performance of .333 (8-2—18).
** Emory keeps BU on its heels with 10 service aces, its second-highest total of the season, junior Becky Breuer and Sarah Porter each dishing out three aces.
** Sophomore Andie McKinnon helps Emory to a 45-38 margin in digs, posting a team-high 11, her fourth double-figure mark of the year.
